Well done WWE for surprising me

http://www.mobilemarketingwatch.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/WWE-Pins-YouTube-For-New-Content-Deal.jpgI'm 20 years old now and had a period of about 7 years (2002-2009) where I lost wrestling totally and now that I'm back into it a little older and wiser I feel I can predict the way a lot of matches are going. Like the triple threat on Raw for example. There was only 1 man who could ever be number 1 contender to Sheamus if you looked logically at the entrants.

As a big fan of The Miz I was really excited when he won Money in the Bank. I didn't want him to cash it in that night as I think he can do great things on the mic now that he has that briefcase (as he proved last night) however I would hate for him to be the first man to lose his cash in. It could stall his career.

So anyway, being someone who thinks they can predict things, seeing Miz out there for Sheamus vs Bourne I saw no way there was going to be a cash in last night. Bourne might pull off an upset then when Miz comes in to tease it Sheamus gets up and Miz gets the hell out of there. But I have to say well done WWE because I fell for it. When Sheamus took a shot with the briefcase I thought he was in trouble but still I didn't want him to risk a cash in, then when Sheamus fought back I sat back in my seat again. Opportunity gone Miz, better luck next time. But then skull crushing finale on the case! - excitement and I'm on my feet. "No... Surely not... But he can't possibly kick out and there's no one to help him... Did I miss the bell ringing? Are we in?!" I actually believed we had a new WWE champion. Even the way the referee handed the case to the announcer, it all looked like it was underway.

Don't know how anyone else felt about this whole scene but I just felt like writing an article to say that this is the 1st time in 6 months that I genuinely felt excited by wrestling again, like something was unknown. Like I was 10 again.
